HVAC Service Technician
Kevin’s Plumbing & Heating is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Minot, ND. For over 36 years, we have proudly served residential and commercial customers throughout the area by providing dependable heating and cooling solutions.
This position is ideal for a skilled HVAC professional who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer service. Our technicians have the support of an experienced office team, stocked inventory, modern work order technology, and the tools needed to get the job done right.
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems
- Troubleshoot heating, cooling, electrical, and mechanical system issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Document service work and maintain accurate records
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC service experience preferred
- EPA Certification required
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Experience with residential and/or commercial heating and cooling systems
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and lift equipment as needed
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills

- Competitive pay: $25.50 - $31.00/hour based on experience
- Daily overtime opportunities: one night per week/rotating weekends once a month
